Dilip Kumar, Raj Kapoor's ancestral houses to become national heritage; Pakistan govt gave Rs 2.35 crores

Bollywood legends, yesteryear actors Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar's ancestral houses in Peshawar got the approval from Pakistani govt to transform it into national heritage, read on.

The Director of Archaeology will acquire veteran actors' houses, and then these will be restored as a museum in Peshawar city.

Recently, Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government approved Rs 2.35 crores to buy their house and transform it into national heritage.The rate has been determined by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Communication and Works Department (C&W).

As per the reports, Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar Muhammad Ali Asghar has fixed the prices. Dilip Kumar's four marlas (101 square metres) house for Rs 80.56 lakh whereas, Raj Kapoor's six marla house (151.75 square metres) for Rs 1.50 crore.
