The internet is full of videos and shocking images from Kabul and other regions of Afghanistan after the Taliban takeover. In the videos, we can see the citizens of the country in chaos and unrest. 

Many families are seen gathered at the Kabul airport to leave the country. So many men are seen clinging to aircraft and trying to flee the country. Sadly Afghanistan has been torn and now has an unpredictable future. One time, Bollywood actors went to shot their films in this beautiful locale of Afghanistan.

Dharmatma: Bollywood actors like Feroz Khan, Hema Malini, Rekha, and Premnath went to Afghanistan for their film. It was said that  Dharmatma was the first Hindi movie that was shot in Afghanistan. Director by Feroz Khan, the film, which was 1975, was based on Hollywood's iconic film The Godfather.

Khuda Gawah: Featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi, and Nagarjuna the film was directed by Mukul Anand. Khuda Gawah was shot in the rocky wilds of Afghanistan, which looked beautiful on the big screen. In an interview, Amitabh talked about the unsettled times of the country. Reports suggest that Khuda Gawah, which was released in 1992, was the most-watched Indian film in Afghanistan.

Janasheen: This was the second film of Feroz Khan shot in Afghanistan. The film was released in 2003, featuring Fardeen Khan and Celina Jaitley in lead roles. The film was shot in Afghanistan post-Taliban reign.

Kabul Express: A 2006 film directed by Kabir Khan, featured John Abraham, Arshad Warsi in lead roles. The film, which Aditya Chopra produced, revolves around two Indian reporters who were sent to Afghanistan. Their work was to report the situation post-US-led invasion after September 2001.

Torbaaz: This 2020 film was released on Netflix, direct by Girish Malik. The film featured Sanjay Dutt and Nargis Fakhri played lead roles. Torbaaz was filmed in Afghanistan. The film is also being shot in places like Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan, becoming the first Indian film. The movie is about child suicide bombers in Afghanistan.
