Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh suit up in PPE Kits ahead of Road Safety World Series

Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh are legendary former cricketers for Team India. Both have played together on numerous occasions and helped India win the ICC World Cup 2011. They also involve themselves in charity cricket games at least once a year.

Former Indian legends Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh are happily retired, having done their part for Team India over the years. However, despite having called curtains on their illustrious careers, they still tend to play their role and entertain the crowd with their gameplay on some special occasions.

Tendulkar and Yuvraj have played together in various instances. The duo also played a pivotal role in helping India win the 2011 ICC World Cup before calling time on their respective careers in 2012 and 2019.

Recently, Yuvraj shared a candid moment with Tendulkar. He shared a picture alongside Tendulkar on his social media handles, where both are seen wearing Personal Protective Equipment kits, as Yuvi captioned it, "And we have arrived in Raipur!! 🥋 🏏 🏌️‍♂️ @sachintendulkar #roadsafety series! par apni safety bhi zaroori hai bhai🤪 😷 wear a mask 🙏". It happened to be an awareness campaign during these challenging times involving the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, the duo is in Raipur, as they are taking part in a charity event known as the Road Safety World Series. Both are playing for India Legends in the tournament. The competition is organised by the Road Safety Cell of Maharashtra as a means to spread awareness regarding road safety.

The tournament involves former cricketers across the globe, while it is contested between six teams. Played in the Twenty20 format, it is being held across six three venues: Mumbai (Wankhede and DY Patil) and Raipur. While Tendulkar is the brand ambassador of the tournament, former Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar is the commissioner.
