No matter how wealthy or established a cricketer is, being a human, every single one of them has their strength and weaknesses, besides having their demons to fight against and face their greatest fears. In the same light, we take a look at some of the prominent Indian cricketers and what their greatest fear is.

Rohit Sharma: The Indian opener and vice-captain, who is the most successful captain for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), does not fear anything in the field of cricket. However, the thing he fears the most is one of the valuable things on earth and is an essential requirement for one's survival. Rohit once opened up that he has a fear against water and never wants to face the bottom of the ocean, as he is scared of drowning, despite knowing how to swim.

Sachin Tendulkar: The greatest batsman the sport has ever seen should hardly have any fears, at least in the field of cricket. Nonetheless, he admitted that during his playing days, the one thing that he did fear was facing mighty South African medium-pacer Hansie Cronje. "Honestly. I got out to Hansie more than anyone. When we played against South Africa, he always got me out more than Donald or Shaun Pollock. It wasn't that I couldn't pick him - it's just that the ball seemed to go straight to a fielder. I was going great guns in Durban one year and played some big shots against Donald and Pollock. Hansie came on, and I flicked his first ball straight to leg-slip. I never knew what to do with him," Tendulkar had once admitted.

Rahul Dravid: The prolific Indian batsman was a pain for any bowler for his rock-solid defensive batting and was termed as 'The Wall'. However, when it came to his greatest fear, Dravid revealed that what if he forgot to bat someday. Not sure if Dravid was being sarcastic or was it his genuine fear. Thankfully, that day never came, as Dravid retired from the sport with his head held high and is still referred to as 'The Wall' of the sport.

Virat Kohli: The Indian skipper is commonly known as the best batsman in world cricket, right now. Although his fearlessness makes him the best, he certainly has something to fear about. However, it is not anything in the field of cricket. Kohli is the second richest active Indian cricketer. Naturally, he has made a lot of bucks to date and continues to do so. On the same front, Kohli has a fear that what if he becomes bankrupt someday. Well, we don't see that happening ever. Do you?

Sourav Ganguly: He is one of the greatest captains India ever had, who made way for an even greater captain like MS Dhoni. He laid the foundation of a dominant Indian squad, which they currently are. Nonetheless, his greatest fear happened to be of not scoring a century at his home ground. It is indeed intriguing for a cricketer, who scored a century upon his debut at Lord's, did not have the same at his home turf. Positively, nightmarish for any batsman. However, it all changed in 2007, in a Test against Pakistan, where he scored 102, in Kolkata.

MS Dhoni: The legendary former Indian skipper has won it all for India. Not just the bowlers feared this deadly wicketkeeper-batsman, but the entire opposition, especially for his excellent captaincy skills. While we wonder what could he fear when everyone in cricket feared him, Dhoni revealed that his biggest fear was getting involved in match-fixing. He made the revelation after Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were banned for a couple of seasons in the Indian Premier League (IPL), on the grounds of corruption. Dhoni also said that it was the biggest crime he could ever commit.
