Delhi Capitals developed a magnificent performance to outplay Rajasthan Royals by 33 runs in IPL 2021. In the meantime, some records were scripted in the process as we take a look.

It was yet another commanding performance from Delhi Capitals (DC), as it outplayed former champion Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 33 runs in Match 36 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. The win took DC back to the top spot as the match saw some records being scripted, and here they are:

DC registers its lowest for the season
DC could manage 36/2 in the powerplay. It was its joint-lowest PP total of the season, along with the previous game against RR in Mumbai.

RR scripts the lowest for IPL 2021
On the other hand, RR could manage just 21/3 in the PP. Consequently, it was the joint lowest score of the season during the phase, alongside Mumbai Indians (MI).
Also, it failed to strike a single boundary in the PP, which is only the second instance since Chennai Super Kings (CSK) against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2011 (15/2).
