Chennai Super Kings are off to a tough start, having lost two games in their three matches, so far. They are currently placed at the bottom of the table, while the absence of Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh seems to be hurting them. They play their next game on Friday.

Former champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are not off to their best start in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). So far, they have lost two games in three matches, while the MS Dhoni-led side lost their last game against Delhi Capitals (DC).

As CSK are currently at the bottom of the table, they would be in a desperate need for a win when they take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Dubai on Friday. Also, the unavailability of veterans Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh is seemingly hurting their progress.

Meanwhile, Dhoni's average performance has been of no help to the side, so far, leaving fans to wonder, as to what role would he play against SRH. Answering the same, former Indian opener Aakash Chopra feels Dhoni would be the man to watch out, terming that the skipper is likely to play a pivotal role.

"I am going with MS Dhoni. I feel Dhoni the captain will play six bowlers, to begin with. After that, he will definitely come to bat at No.4 or No.5 and he will play a pivotal role in making Chennai Super Kings win this encounter," said Chopra on his YouTube channel.

"I am going with MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings. I think Chennai Super Kings will just scrape through in this one and get back on the winning ways," he added.

Speaking on the match, Chopra confirmed that both Amabati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo are likely to play, besides stating that Dhoni should find a way to accommodate the latter. He also feels that the side could drop either of Murali Vijay or Ruturaj Gaikwad to make way for Rayudu.

"One thing is that MS Dhoni is not playing six bowlers, although he may have his reasons for it. They can play Bravo and keep Sam Curran out or play both of them and leave Josh Hazlewood out and play Shardul Thakur. They will have to figure out a way to get six bowlers in," he continued.

"And, as soon as Rayudu becomes fit, which he is now, then you can leave out both Murali Vijay and Ruturaj Gaikwad, and open with Rayudu, alongside Watson. After that, they will have Faf du Plessis, Kedar Jadhav, Dhoni, Jaddu, Bravo and Sam Curran. I am absolutely happy with this line-up," he concluded.
