IPL 2020, Match 20: Plethora of records splintered as MI decimate RR

This was Mumbai Indians' fourth win of the season in six matches, as they rise to the top of the points table. Meanwhile, RR suffered their third defeat in five matches, as they slid down to the seventh spot. MI are the four-time defending champions of the tournament.

Defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) came up with the champion's performance, as they drubbed former champions Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 57 runs in Match 20 of the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL). The match was held in Abu Dhabi, as MI rise to the top of the table, while RR are down to the seventh.

Match report: Winning the toss, MI skipper Rohit Sharma elected to bat first. The decision turned out to be a good one, as they managed to post a challenging total of 1934.
