The IPL 2022 Mega Auction is underway in Bengaluru. The overseas players were the ones to watch out for, as some received attractive bids, besides a few going unsold. Check out.

The 2022 IPL Mega Auction entertains all. With 600 players going under the hammer, the overseas players also received attention for drawing top bucks, while some failed to get on the sold list. As the action continues for a couple of days, you can check out the foreign players who did well or remain unsold during the auction.

Dewald Brevis
The South Africa U-19 batter saw bids from MI and PBKs with a base of ₹20 lakh before being taken by the former for ₹3 cr.

The Bangladeshi pacer was taken for his base price of ₹2cr by DC, as it was the sole bidder.

The New Zealand medium-pace bowler with a base for ₹2 cr saw bids from DC, GT and RCB. However, it was GT that got him for ₹10 cr.

Nicolas Pooran
The Windies wicketkeeper with a base of ₹1.5 cr received bids from CSK and SRH before KKR entered into the picture. After an intense bidding war, he was sold to SRH for a whopping ₹10.75 cr.

Jonny Bairstow
The English wicketkeeper-opener with a base of ₹1.50 cr started with initial bids from PBKS and SRH. He was bagged by the former for ₹6.75 cr.

Mohammad Nabi
The Afghan all-rounder with a base of ₹1 cr failed to attract any bidders in a shock. Not even, SRH was interested.

Mitchell Marsh
The Australian all-rounder with a base of ₹2 cr attracted bids from GT, SRH and DC. Ultimately, DC roped him in for ₹6.50 cr.

Wanindu Hasaranga
The Sri Lanka all-rounder with a base of ₹1 cr started off between SRH and PBKS before RCB entered the fray. Ultimately, it was RCb who clinched him for ₹10.75 cr.

Shakib Al Hasan
The Bangladesh all-rounder remains unsold, as even former franchise KKR does not show any interest.

Jason Holder
The Windies all-rounder receives heavy bids from CSK, MI, RR and LSG. Against his base of ₹1.5 cr, he was sold for ₹8.75 cr.

Dwayne Bravo
The former Windies all-rounder saw a bidding war between DC and CSK, as he returned to the latter for ₹4.40 cr against his base of ₹2 cr.

Steven Smith finds no bidders and goes shockingly unsold, awaiting his fate in the accelerated process.

Jason Roy
The English opener goes to GT for his base price of ₹2 crore, with no other team interested in him.

Shimron Hetmyer
The Windies batter gets taken by RR for ₹8.5 crore against his base price of ₹1 crore.

David Warner
The Australian opener saw a bid between DC and CSK. Against a base price of ₹2 cr, he was sold to the former for ₹6.25 cr.

Quinton de Kock
The South African wicketkeeper-opener with a base price of ₹2 cr saw bidding proceedings from Chennai Super Kings (CSK), MI, GT and LSG. Ultimately, it was LSG who bagged him for ₹6.75 cr.

Faf du Plessis
The South African opener had a base price of ₹2 crore. As DC and RCB began the bidding proceedings, he went to the latter for ₹7 cr.

Trent Boult
RR, RCB and Mumbai Indians (MI) engage in an interesting bidding war for the Kiwi pacer. Against his base price of ₹2 crore, it is RR that bags him for ₹8 crore.

Kagiso Rabada
The South African pacer receives bids from DC, Gujarat Titans (GT) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). However, it is the latter who claims him for ₹ 9.25 crore against his base price of ₹2 crore.

Pat Cummins
The Australian pacer receives some interesting bids, with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) going at him, while the former takes him for ₹7.25 crore.
