India has not had a fruitful outing in the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup. With most Indians misfiring, Jasprit Bumrah is the only one to have shown a spirited performance, thus rising in the ICC T20I Rankings.

As far as Team India is concerned, it has had a poor performance in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, being held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It has lost its initial two games against Pakistan and New Zealand, as it stares at an early exit, while it is in a must-win situation in its remaining three matches.

As a result, he has scaled the rankings, rising ten places to be jointly placed in the 24th spot along with Fabian Allen of Windies.
