Smartphone brand Realme is looking to make a big splash in the market again. The company has just launched its new Realme 16T smartphone in India. This phone is grabbing attention as a mid-range device packed with a powerful battery, a high refresh-rate display, and AI-based camera features. Its long battery life and sturdy build quality are its biggest selling points.

Realme 16T: Price and Storage Variants

The Realme 16T is available in three variants in India. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at ₹29,999. The 8GB + 128GB model will cost you ₹31,999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB model is priced at ₹34,999. As part of the launch offer, the company has announced an instant discount of up to ₹3,000 on credit card EMI transactions and a discount of up to ₹2,000 on select bank UPI transactions. There's also a no-cost EMI facility for up to 12 months, and existing Realme users get an additional benefit of ₹1,000. Pre-booking is open until May 26, and the first sale will kick off on May 27 at 12 PM.

One of the key features of the Realme 16T is its large 6.8-inch LCD display. The company claims that this screen, which supports a 144Hz refresh rate, will provide an excellent experience for gaming and watching videos. With a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, the screen is clearly visible even in bright sunlight. It also includes features like an Eye Protection Mode, Dark Mode, and Auto Brightness Adjustment.

The Realme 16T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The phone comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on Realme UI 7, which is based on Android 16. The phone also offers several software features like Split Screen, Floating Window, Screen Recording, and even iOS file sharing.

For photography, the phone features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 main camera. In addition to this, there is a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor.
