Sony Playstation 5 is coming to India in February, pre-orders begin on January 12

Here's some good news for gamers in India in the new year. Sony Corp has announced that its PlayStation 5 or PS5 console will be launched in India in February.

In a statement posted on the PlayStation India Twitter handle, Sony Corp said: "We are happy to announce that PS5 shall be launched in India on the 2nd of February, 2021."

"Pre-orders for PS5 shall begin 12 PM on January 12 and shall be available on pre-order at Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Games The Shop, Shop at Sony Center, Vijay Sales and select other authorised Retail partners."

Sony Corp had in October revealed that prices of the PS5 console will be Rs 49,990 while that of the Digital Edition would be Rs 39,990.

As for the PS5 accessories, the DualSense Wireless Controller has been priced at Rs 5,990, the HD camera at 5,190, the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset for Rs 8,590, the media remote at Rs 2,590 and the DualSense Charging Station at Rs 2,590.
