Apple's recently launched gadget Airtag can be hacked, as reported.
A German researcher, 'Stack Smashing' has cracked the code to break into the microcontroller of Apple's most recent and cheapest gadget Airtag.
What does the microcontroller do? The microcontroller is the main part of the Integrated Circuit (IC) used for controlling devices. If a hacker gets hold of the microcontroller, they can change its command as per their liking.
Yesss!!! After hours of trying (and bricking 2 AirTags) I managed to break into the microcontroller of the AirTag! 🥳🥳🥳

The researcher took to his Twitter account and shared a demonstration video showing how a hacked Airtag works and how an un-hacked Airtag redirects to the Find My website when it's enabled to find the lost found devices.
However, Apple hasn't responded to this matter yet, but let's see what they do about it. Airtag is one of the cheapest buys of Apple. In India, one-piece costs Rs 3,190, and if you buy in a pack of four, it comes with a price tag of Rs 10,900. It was launched last month.
