Actress Sridevi breathed her last on the night of February 24. She was in Dubai attending her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding.
Talking to Indian Express, Sanjay Kapoor had confirmed, "Yes, it is true that Sridevi passed away. I just landed here, I was in Dubai and now I am flying back to Dubai. It happened roughly around 11.00-11.30. I don’t know more details yet."
A few hours before she died, a video of Sridevi and husband Boney Kapoor dancing to Katrina-Sidharth’s Kaala Chashma is going viral. It was the last time the couple shared a dance at the wedding.
She was also seen dancing with her co-star, brother-in-law Anil Kapoor in Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan.
In the video, both of them hugged each other after matching their footsteps in sync to the popular song. Who knew this was going to be the last hug they'd share?
Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi Kapoor were also in attendance.
