The Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal cast Samantha Akkineni, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi were seen shooting on a local bus; netizens compare it with Kamal Haasan’s Valayosai song; take a look  

A few days ago, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal cast Samantha Akkineni, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi were shooting on a bus. All the three stars were travelling on the footboard of a bus. 

A video from the sets surfaced online, and many social media users started comparing it with Kamal Haasan and Amala's song Valayosai from Sathyaa (1988). Interestingly, all Samantha Akkineni, Nayanthara, were wearing saree resembling Amala’s in the original song.

Lata Mangeshkar and SP Balasubrahmanyam sang Valayosai, and it was said to be an iconic track composed by Ilaiyaraaja.

Coming back to Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, the film is director by Nayanthara's beau Vignesh Shivan and is jointly produced by Vignesh Shivan, Nayanthara and Lalit Kumar under the banners of Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio. And the music is by Anirudh Ravichander.
