
On Tuesday, October 24, Kangana Ranaut will appear at the Luv Kush Ramleela at Delhi's Red Fort. She will use an arrow to burn the Raavan effigy at the venue, making her the first woman to perform the Raavan Dahan in the event's 50-year history. She also announced the news in a video on Instagram and invited her followers to see her film Tejas, which will be released on October 27.
In the video, Kangana could be seen in a green and white dress with barely any makeup and her curly hair loosely falling naturally. She captioned the video, “In the 50 years of history of the event, held annually at the Red Fort this will be the first time a woman will set the effigy of Ravana on fire Jai Shri Ram.”

The actor said in Hindi, "Namaste friends. I am coming to Lal Quila's Ram Leela on October 24 to burn Ravan's effigy and establish the victory of good over evil. Besides, my film Tejas, which is based on the Indian Air Force, is releasing on October 27. Please watch the film. Jai Shree Ram."
Ramlila Committee President, Arjun Kumar said, “This year Kangana will attend the Dussehra celebration in the national capital on October 24 and will participate in the Ravan Dahan."

Meanwhile, Kangana will soon be seen in Sarvesh Mewara's flick Tejas. In the film, she plays an Indian Air Force officer.
