Vijay's Thalapathy 65 first look poster: Gun weilding 'Beast' treats fans on birthday eve

Thalapathy will turn 47 on Tuesday and as a birthday gift, the makers of his next film revealed the first look poster. The movie is titled 'Beast' and the superstar poster features him welding a shotgun. 

Treat to Thalapathy Vijay fans as makers of his 65th film have announced his film's title and also released the first look poster. 

The revelation gains significance as Vijay's birthday is on June 22 and the announcement of his latest film's title and first look poster is a gift from the makers, Sun Pictures and director Nelson Dilipkumar. 

It has become a tradition of sorts to reveal the title and first look posters of Vijay’s upcoming films on the eve of the Tamil superstar’s birthday. The makers also have kept this tradition in mind and targeted their audience. 

The title and poster that was announced at 6 pm on Monday has already gone viral across social media.  

The title shows Viral holding a shotgun promises an action-packed cinema laced with punch dialogue for Vijay as his fans love to see him that way. 

As per reports, the crew along with the star had left for Georgia for the shoot in April and after 20 days shoot for some scenes, returned. Due to lockdown induced restrictions, the progress of the film's completion and its release day is yet to be known. 

The film is said to be an action-drama and Pooja Hedge is playing Vijay's love interest in the film.
