This is why Abhishek didn't accompany Aishwarya to Mangaluru
Synopsis
Aishwarya was in Uppinangady, near Mangaluru to immerse ashes of her father in Kumaradhara river. Abhishek, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan attended a wedding in Abu Dhabi.
Last Saturday, she flew to her hometown, Mangaluru, to perform the last round of religious rites after the death of her father, Krishna Raj Rai, who succumbed to cancer at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on March 19. She was accompanied by her mother Vrinda and daughter Aradhya.
Aishwarya was in Uppinangady, near Mangaluru to immerse ashes of her father in Kumaradhara river. On Sunday evening she flew back to Mumbai.
On the other hand, Abhishek, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan attended a wedding in Abu Dhabi. The wedding was of Anushka Rajan, daughter of business scion Abhijit Rajan. The wedding affair was truly an extravaganza, which saw celebrities including Sridevi, Sonali Bendre, Athiya Shetty to name a few. Aishwarya gave the wedding a miss as she was attending to her ailing father.
