Synopsis

Actress Soha Ali Khan is the latest victim of trolls on social media The actress posted a picture in a saree on Instagram, of what looked like a traditional Bengali baby shower A handful of comments read that she should be ashamed and that she was not Muslim enough

The internet is full of haters. And the latest victim to such hate was actress Soha Ali Khan. After Soha posted a picture on Instagram, she was accused of not being Muslim enough in the comments thread.

The 38-year-old actress posted a picture with her husband Kunal Khemu wearing a pink saree. Her followers guessed that she was dressed for a traditional Bengali baby shower since her mother Sharmila Tagore is Bengali.

While most of the comments were in praise of her, a handful of people commented that she should be ashamed and that she was not Muslim enough. Some people were also upset by the fact that she did not post an Eid greeting and she should have worn a dress more appropriate for Eid.

Just a month ago, Fatima Sana Shaikh of Dangal fame was similarly trolled on Instagram for wearing a swimsuit on a beach during Ramzan.

Soha Ali Khan who is the sister of actor Saif Ali Khan and the daughter of Sharmila Tagore and late cricketer Tiger Pataudi, is expecting her first child with Kunal Khemu.
