Sidharth Shukla, well known for his part in the TV programme Balika Vadhu, died of a heart attack this morning. He was 40 years old. Following the heart attack, Shukla was transported to Mumbai's Cooper Hospital. The actor has received several accolades during his career, including Gold Awards for Most Fit Actor and Times of India's Top 20 Most Desirable Men on Television in 2017 and 2018. He has a long list of honours to his name. The untimely death of Sidharth Shukla has left the television industry in shock as tributes from his colleagues poured in. 

Apart from them, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Kapil Sharma, Madhuri Dixit, Kiara Advani, Manoj Bajpayee, Riteish Deshmukh, and R Madhavan are among those who have expressed their grief at the actor's untimely death.

According to reports, he took some medication before going to bed and did not wake up. The hospital has now verified that he died as a result of a heart attack. "He was taken to the hospital dead some time ago," said a top Cooper Hospital official.

Sidharth Shukla, the Bigg Boss 13 winner in 2019, is survived by his mother and two sisters. Sidharth Shukla was active on Twitter till recently. His most recent tweet, on August 30, congratulated competitors Sunil Antil and Avani Lekhara on winning gold medals at the Tokyo Paralympics.
