Synopsis

The 37-second clip hints the film will have genuine moments of comedy The teaser garnered 1 lakh views within the first 30 minutes and has now reached the 8 lakh mark

Directed by National Award winner Sidhartha Siva, 'Sakhavu' stars Nivin as Comrade Krishanakumar and also features Aishwarya Rajesh, Sreenivasan, Aparna Gopinath, Renji Panicker and Gayathri Suresh in important roles.

 

Despite the title and the first look poster suggesting a drama, the 37-second clip hints the film will also have genuine moments of comedy.

 

"I have always been grateful and lucky for the wonderful characters that i have gotten so far.. And equally lucky to have been accepted with so much love..
In my next release,SAKHAVU, i played a character who is now a inseparable part of me.. A character i think u will just love!! Introducing SAKHAVU Krishnakumar... (sic)," Nivin posted on his official page.

 

The teaser, which was released on Sunday, garnered 1 lakh views within the first 30 minutes and has now reached the 8 lakh mark.

 

The film's cinematography was done by George C Williams in what would be his Malayalam debut, while Prashant Pillai has composed the songs.

 

Produced by B Rakesh under the banner of Universal Cinema, 'Sakhavu' is set for a Vishu release.
