SS Rajamoli has disappointed millions of fans of Jr NTR aka Tarak by not presenting him a birthday gift in the form of teaser release of his latest RRR movie as promised earlier. The director blames the lockdown but what irks fans is that he had released a teaser for the other lead, Ram Charan.

South Indian cinema’s biggest name in filmmaking, SS Rajamouli who made Baahubali, failed to impress fans of Jr NTR by not deliver his promise of releasing a teaser for his latest RRR movie starring Jr NTR as a gift.

The director had however released a teaser for Ram Charan, another lead from RRR, recently. The 1.14-minute teaser shows the actor’s built up body going at it with punches at a boxing bag. The teaser also shows his skills at aiming and piercing a target and this has set the internet on fire.

After this teaser release and the craze surrounding it, fans of Tarak (Jr NTR) were also hoping for a gift for their favourite star on his birthday. The filmmakers had also announced a similar treat but, now citing the lockdown as a reason for incompletion, they provided only an apology.

Rajamouli's team on RRR in a statement, clarified that they’ve been working really hard to deliver the poster featuring Tarak, but they were unable to complete the same because of the prevailing lockdown and hence, will not be releasing a poster on his birthday.

However, the filmmakers have promised that they will soon return with more updates and the wait will be made worthwhile, with RRR turning into a big festival.

The film also stars Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Hollywood actor Alison Doody along with others, playing crucial roles.

The film has music by MM Keeravani and is produced by DVV Danayya.

The film is scheduled for a release on January 8, 2021 to coincide with the Sankranti festival season.
