Bollywood celebs took to social media to support filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali including Deepika Padukone, who plays the role of Rani Padmavati, expressed her shock on Twitter.
Deepika wrote, "In a state of shock!deeply saddened and disheartened by yesterday's events!#Padmavati"
She also cleared the air by tweeting about the role, "As Padmavati, I can assure you that there is absolutely no distortion of history Padmavati,”
She added, "Our only endeavour is & has always been to share with the world the story of this courageous & powerful woman in the purest form there is."
Deepika was trolled by the name Nishant Jain who said there was 'more to come' if she didn't 'mend her ways.'
Later, Rishi noticed the obnoxious sounding tweet and decided to shut the troll up in the way he deserved to. He tweets, "You need a kick up your crotch asswipe! Shut your bloody trap respect the women you address"
He also tweeted "Satish Shah's bad "duplicate"get a life! Lokendra Singh you have shamed the people of Rajasthan today. Ab TV pe bahane mat banao. Looser!"
The actor surely knows how to give it back hard. It’s about time some of these pseudo-nationalists learn some respect. According to the latest reports, Padmavati shoot has been cancelled, and the unit has returned to Mumbai.
Nicely done, Mr. Kapoor!
