Rangoon Trailer Review: Here’s what you can expect from this film

Synopsis

Rangoon will release on February 24, 2017. The film is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.

Director Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon’s trailer was released on Thursday and we already have high expectations from it. Bhardwaj’s last film was Haider and we could not stop praising the brilliance of this man after watching the movie.

Now he is back with a power-packed cast in Rangoon – Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut. Bhardwaj has already worked with Shahid in Kaminey and Haider. He has also worked with Saif in Omkara, for which the Chote Nawab bagged a National Award. However, Bhardwaj worked with Kangana for the first time in Rangoon.

From the trailer we understand that the film is set during the World War II in Burma (now Myanmar). The trailer is filled with emotions and intensity and keeps the audience guessing about the outcome.

Saif Ali Khan plays a filmmaker who is in love with Kangana Ranaut, actress of that period. On behalf of the British Government, Kangana had to visit the war-front in Myanmar and there’s where she meets Shahid Kapoor, who is an Indian soldier fighting the war.

The film will hit the movie theatres and multiplexes on February 24, 2017.
