This year November 4, will be a festival of sorts for fans of superstar Rajinikanth after the maker's Sun Pictures announced the release date of Annaatthe.
Interestingly, a thing to note is the decided release date is which Rajini considers very auspicious.
As per noted astrologer SK Jain, the day selected for release is special as it was on this day (Thursday) when Hindu saint Guru Raghavendra attained 'Jeeva Samadhi'.
"As per Hindus belief, 'Karthik Masa' is very auspicious and the film is being released during Deepavali, festival of lights and since the release coincides with the day on which saint Guru Raghavendra attained salvation. The makers of Annnaatthe can hope for luck as Thursday or 'Guruvara' is considered a day that brings brightness in life," said SK Jain.
Rajinikanth played the role of this historical character as Raghavendra Swami in the film ‘Guru Raghavendra’ and from then he’s been very spiritual. In the past, Rajini has visited the Brindavana of Guru Raghavendra at Manthralaya several times.
Annaatthe also stars lady superstar Nayanthara, Meena, Kushbu Sundar and Keerty Suresh and directed by Siva. The music is helmed by D Imaan.
