Hence in the year 2021 during the time of Diwali, the audience will see a box office clash of Prithiviraj and Jersey on November 5, starring Akshay Kumar and Shahid Kapoor respectively.
Prithviraj is based on the life of Samrat Prihivarj Chauhan and has Sonu Sood, Sanjay Dutt in the cast, Manushi Chillar will mark her Bollywood debut with this one.
The film was supposed to be released on Diwali 2020 but got delayed owing to coronavirus outbreak.
Two superstars will lock their horns as a few months ago Shahid Kapoor too locked the Diwali date for his sports movie 'Jersey'.
