Prabhas in Bengaluru for Saaho promotion, hints at negative role in film

Baahubali starrer Prabhas was promoting Saaho - his upcoming action thriller- in Bengaluru. The actor has hinted at a possible negative role in the film.  

Bengaluru:  Actor Prabhas, known for his blockbuster film Baahubali was in the city promoting his upcoming action-thriller Saaho opposite Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor. Prabhas has dropped a few hints on the film,  which also includes a possible negative role. 

Replying to a question about when his fans would get a chance to see him in a negative role like one of his dual roles in Billa, the Darling actor said, “May be there is a grey shade to my character in the film Saaho.” 

While speaking about the experience shooting for his Bollywood debut, Prabhas said, “It is very different and yet so similar in many ways.”

He further described Shraddha Kapoor - who is also making a debut in the film industry down south - as “someone who is very passionate and dedicated to her work”.

Prabhas was also questioned about whether his fans would have to wait for years before they see him onscreen. To which he replied that he wishes to make at least one film a year. 

There is no conversation with Prabhas that doesn’t involve Anushka Shetty.  Prabhas maintained that there is nothing between them and even dodged the question regarding their rumoured interest in buying a house in Los Angeles. 

After the grand Baahubali that was a box office success, Prabhas will now be seen opposite Shraddha in Saaho which will be released on August 29.

The shooting for the film took place in six phases and were shot in places like Abu Dhabi, Austria, Romania, Hyderabad and Mumbai.

The film is directed by Sujeeth and produced by Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati.
