Obsession on OTT: When and Where to Watch Curry Barker’s Uncensored Horror Hit Online

The uncensored version of Obsession is reportedly set to release on OTT from June 2, 2026, after its theatrical release in India.

Obsession, which stars Michael Johnston and Inde Navarrette, will be released in India on May 29, 2026. The film had previously premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 5, 2025, before coming in the United States on May 15, 2026. Now, the psychological horror movie is rumoured to be coming to internet platforms shortly, potentially uncensored.

Obsession OTT Release Details:

According to Lets Cinema, Obsession will be released digitally on June 2, 2026. Since the film was recently released in Indian theatres, it looks that spectators will soon be able to watch it online as well.

According to reports, the film would be released on Peacock first, followed by Netflix. However, an official statement from the creators is yet expected.

Obsession Plot

Obsession follows Baron "Bear" Bailey, who secretly harbours affections for his coworker and friend Nikki Freeman. After the death of his cat, Bear purchases a mystical object called the “One Wish Willow," which is believed to grant one wish when broken.

In a vulnerable moment, Bear wished Nikki loved him more than anybody else in the world. Nikki soon gets obsessed with him, and the two start a romance. However, her adoration gradually becomes disturbing, aggressive, and deadly.

Bear ultimately realises that Nikki's emotions and recollections have been twisted by the desire. As her infatuation becomes more horrific, he realises that the curse can only be broken if either he or Nikki die. His attempts to erase the desire result in even more catastrophic and horrible outcomes.

In the conclusion, Bear attempts to halt the nightmare and release Nikki from the curse. But before he can do so, Nikki uses another desire to make him love her again. Bear ultimately reciprocates, but falls seconds later owing to the medications he had taken. Nikki then reverts to her actual personality and collapses after witnessing the devastation around her.
