Nivin Pauly has unveiled the first look poster of his Tamil outing 'Richie' via his Facebook page.
The poster portrays Nivin as a goon and hints that the film will be one for the masses. Apart from the Mollywood star, the film also features Natarajan Subramaniam, Prakash Raj, Ashok Selvan and Shraddha Srinath in important roles. The film is set for a May 12 release.
Richie will be Nivin's first ever Tamil only film. The actor had earlier starred in Alphonse Puthren's bilingual 'Neram' (2013), which was released in both Malayalam and Tamil.
Nivin's popularity in Tamil Nadu increased considerably in the last couple of years, after the success of Puthren's 'Premam' (2015), which ran for more than 250 days in multiplexes in Chennai.
Richie is a remake of the 2014 Kannada neo-noir flick 'Ulidavaru Kandanthe', directed by Rakshit Shetty and starring Rakshit, Kishore and Tara and Sheetal Shetty in important roles.
