Mahadayi verdict: Actor Shivarajkumar joins the protest

And Shivarajkumar is the latest actor to speak out against the Mahadayi river tribunal verdict.

In an interview, Shivarajkumar has said that the government should strictly take a stand and come in support of the people and reduce their water problems. 

Not just this, the actor has also requested the MPs not to say things like 'this is not in our hands'.  He has also pleaded with people of other states to help resolve this crisis so that people in Northern Karnataka at least get continuous drinking water.

Many other celebs from the industry have also spoken out against the verdict. Kannada activists have protested the Mahadayi river tribunal's rejection of the state's plea for water by calling for a Karnataka bandh, today.
