This week, late actress Sridevi was honoured with the National Award for Best Actress at the 65th National Awards, for her movie Mom and this marked Sridevi’s first National Award.
Sridevi's daughters Janhvi, Khushi and husband Boney Kapoor were present at the award ceremony to receive the honour on the actress' behalf.
All eyes were on Janhvi, as she looked elegant in a pink and white silk Kanjeevaram saree designed by Manish Malhotra, which was originally worn by her mother, Sridevi at actor Ram Charan's wedding in 2013.

While Sridevi wore it with a sleeveless blouse and added a necklace and matching earrings, Janhvi wore a cropped sleeved blouse with simple jhumkis. On the other hand, Khushi also wore a Manish Malhotra outfit comprising of a raw silk lehenga with a benarasi border paired with a contrast duppata and choli.
In the pictures, Boney noticeably looked shaken as he accepted Sridevi’s award and the family even expressed their gratitude on Twitter. Boney tweeted from late Sridevi's Twitter handle sharing the picture of the prestigious award.
In an interview to a news agency, Boney said, "It is a very proud moment for all us. At the same time, a sad moment. We wish she was here with us. She truly deserves it and she has been around for almost 50 years and done almost 300 films (MOM was her 300th film). She has always given her best to all her films. Finally, unfortunately, after she has left, that she has been awarded this honour."
Janhvi was also spotted wiping sweat off her father Boney’s forehead in a photo. Sridevi’s fans quickly found that they had seen something similar to this cute father-daughter moment in another photo taken a few years ago. They dug up an old photo in which Sridevi herself can be seen wiping sweat of Boney’s forehead at the Filmfare Awards ceremony in 2013.
