Is Samantha Ruth Prabhu's career OVER? Producer makes some startling claims about her 'cheap acts'-read on

Synopsis

Chitti Babu, a Tollywood producer, has made a series of alarming assertions about Samantha Ruth Prabhu's film career. Samantha's career, he argues, is gone.

In an unexpected turn of events, renowned producer-director Chittibabu has declared Samantha Ruth Prabhu's film career "over." Notably, Samantha's most recent film, Shaakuntalam, has fallen short of expectations and has failed to create an impact at the box office.

The producer slammed Samantha in a recent interview with Filmy Looks, alleging that her career as a "star heroine" has finished and that she is now using "cheap tactics" to sell her films.

"After her divorce, Samantha performed the Oo Antava item song in Pushpa The Rise." She did it to make a living. She is taking any offers she receives after losing her celebrity status. Her career as the heroine is over, and she will never be a celebrity again. "She should keep going with the offers she gets," he was reported as saying by Siasat.com.

"During Yashoda promotions, she shed tears and attempted to score a hit." "Now, ahead of Shaakuntalam, she did the same thing to gain sympathy, saying she planned to do the role before she died and went on record as being unable to speak because she couldn't get her voice out of her throat," Babu continued.

He also expressed astonishment at seeing Samantha in the major role in Shaakuntalam. "The sentiment "every time" will not work. People will watch if the part and film are good. These are all cheap and crazy deeds. I'm curious how Samantha, who has lost her heroine status, fits the character of Shakuntala. "I'm not interested in Shaakuntalam," he had stated.

Meanwhile, Gunasekhar's Shaakuntalam is a Telugu mythological drama film written and directed by him. On April 14, the film was released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The film could have done better on its opening day, earning only Rs 5 crore across all languages. It also faired poorly on day two and collected just Rs 1.5 crores. On day 3, Shaakuntaam drove to earn Rs 2 crores.
