I get nervous to post on social media: Disha Patani

Synopsis

Disha made her Bollywood debut last year and was also seen in "Kung Fu Yoga". Disha feels female actors are getting meaty roles now.

The 24-year-old "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story" actress sometimes says her tweets and posts get misinterpreted.

When asked how she deals with trolls, Disha says, "I myself get nervous when I write something on social media. I make sure I don't write anything wrong.

"Sometimes what I want to say is different from what I write and it leads to misunderstanding. And that's the time I get scared. But in India we have freedom of speech. And what I write is my idea and so it's OK if people don't agree with it," says the actress, who has recently launched her 'Disha Patani Official' app.

"They have become a powerful part of the script. I hope this undergoes further change and we get to play equal role in films."

Besides her film projects, Disha is also known for her style sense but the actress says she doesn't have too much knowledge of fashion.

"I prefer wearing comfortable clothes. I don't think I am an icon, my team works hard on my look. I just wear what they suggest. If you feel comfortable and cool in particular clothes then that is fashion according to me," she says.
