Here is why actor Nagarjuna cannot forget May 23 in his life

Though not in India, Tollywood's evergreen hero Nagarjuna did not forget to tweet on May 23, the special day in his life. Two things coinciding have made the day unforgettable for the actor.

May 23 was the day 'Manam' was released in 2014, in which Nagarjuna's father Akkineni Nageshwara Rao, Nagarjuna himself and his sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil played major roles. In fact, the current family member Samantha Akkineni, now Naga Chaitanya's wife also played Chai's wife in the film.

Now, with Akkineni Nageshwar Rao's demise on January 22, 2014 (before the release of his last film Manam), Nagarjuna considers the last film with his father, i.e. Manam very close to his heart.

Another reason why May 23 is special for Nagarjuna is that his first film Vikram was also released on the same date in 1986.
