He is my closest friend: Kavya on why she married Dileep

Actor Dileep married Kavya Madhavan on 25 November. Their marriage was a low-key affair. The marriage was limited to a closed circle of friends and family.

The marriage of actor Dileep and Kavya Madhavan had created a flutter in Mollywood. Their marriage on November 25 had come as a complete surprise to many including their colleagues. Now the actress herself has come out on the details of the event. 

Speaking to 'Star and Style' Kavya said it was all decided in just a week.

"As a person who knew me quite well, nobody was against my marriage with Dileep. When both families checked the horoscopes, it matched well. Things were decided quickly after that. Dileep was one of my closest friend from the industry, " said the newlywed bride.

The crackling chemistry between the pair in more than 20 movies had fed rumours mills with much fodder for gossip. However, both the stars have never before publically acknowledged their relation though rumours were rife that Kavya was the reason behind Dileep's split with his first wife Manju Warrier.
