The filmmakers of Julie 2 have unveiled their seductive teaser on September 04, Monday, thus giving a steamy beginning to the week ahead. The movie, which is a sequel to the Neha Dhupia starrer Julie, is backed by former CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani. The movie also marks the Bollywood debut of south siren Raai Laxmi.

Raai Laxmi is a very popular face in the southern film industry where she has done many movies in all four languages-Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. She has done 49 movies till now and Julie 2 will be her 50th film. 

Well, apart from being so popular, the actress was in the news for dating MS Dhoni as well. According to Hindustan Times, the actress once dated Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. It was about 5 years ago when the actress dated the cricketer. In an earlier interview with the leading daily, she said, “I was the brand ambassador for the IPL team that he was a part of and we were together for less than a year. We had never committed to each other and never thought of getting married either, so I don’t understand why people would talk about us. It didn’t work for us, so we moved on.” 

When Dhoni's biopic titled MS Dhoni: The Untold Story was to be release, Raai Laxmi was reportedly anxious to know if the film involves anything to do with her as well.

Going back to Julie 2, the movie follows the typical story of a budding actress who compromises on her morals and beliefs to become a superstar. With numerous sexy scenes and plenty of skin show, it seems similar to the first film. The movie is directed by Deepak Shivdasani.

Also technically, Julie 2 is not her Bollywood debut because her first film in the Hindi film industry was Akira starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead.
