Can Madhavan better Dulquer Salmaan's Charlie stint?

Sai Pallavi and Madhavan will be seen romancing in director AL Vijay's movie.  Madhavan will reprise Dulquer Salmaan in the Tamil remake of Charlie The movie will go one floor from March 2017 in Ooty and Pondicherry. 

After the grand success of the Malayalam film Premam, Sai Pallavi earned a strong fan base in Tamil Nadu. Sai, who was supposed to make her Tamil debut in Mani Ratnam's Kaatru Veliyidai, opted out of the project due to date issues.

But, now the wait is over for all her fans in Tamil Nadu. Yes, the official news is out, Sai and Madhavan will be seen romancing in director AL Vijay's movie. 

The movie Charlie follows the story of the journey of a girl, who is in search of an unconventional personality named Charlie, who previously lived in her apartment. 

In Charlie, Dulquer was seen in a more rugged look with a freshly shaped moustache, beard and his looks made set a new trend for the youngster to follow. In the movie, Dulquer plays the role of a maverick youth and the audience loved him. Charlie is vagabond who, always dressed in Bohemian attire, flits from one place to another doing good deeds and cementing a spot in the hearts of those he meets.

Now the major question is, can Madhavan pull off the role and reprises Dulquer's, Charlie?

Yes, we think, he can pull the role of Charlie very well. Remember Madhavan's Bollywood movies like in 3 Idiots, Saala Khadoo, and Tanu Weds Manu where he proved himself by getting into the skin of the character. And, we hope he will do justice to Charlie.  

In a media statement, the Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallappa said that "We are confident that the combo of Madhavan sir and Sai Pallavi will make the best onscreen pair, which will be loved by all sets of the audience, in particular by the Tamil audience."  

They also added, the movie will go one floor from March 2017 in Ooty and Pondicherry. 

Celebrated cinematographer Nirav Shah will handle the camera, Leon James taking care of music and state award winning art director Jayashree are the part of the crew.
