Bombshell Wamiqa Gabbi is all set for a Mollywood debut!

Filmmaker Basil Joseph, who debuted with the film Kunjiramayanam, had announced his next film  - Godha. 

The film will introduce a new actress to the Malayalam film industry - Wamiqa Gabbi, who is from Punjab. 

The actress was last seen in the popular Bollywood movie Jab We Met. Wamiqa played the character of Kareena Kapoor's younger sister in the film. 

She has also appeared in a couple of Hindi and Punjabi films. She now takes the leap from north to south.  Recently she had a small role in the Tamil film Malai Nerathu Mayakkam, directed by Geethanjali, the wife of filmmaker Selvaraghavan. She has also appeared in a Telugu movie named Bhale Manchi Roja, with actor Sudheer Babu. 

In the Mollywood movie, Godha, Wamiqa would be seen in an important role. Godha, which has Tovino Thomas in the lead role, is about the character played by Wamiqa in the movie. 

Godha is said to be a women-centric film and has a script based on wrestling. The film would go on the floors by the end of July. Godha also stars Renji Panicker in an important role.
