A Bengali television actor has been arrested for allegedly stealing cash and firearms from a businessman’s residence in Panchasayar police station area. Investigation is still on and the officers are trying to find out whether others are involved in this case.
Kolkata: A Bengali television actor has been arrested for allegedly stealing cash and firearms from a businessman’s residence in Panchasayar police station area.
A few days ago, a businessman filed a complaint in Panchasayar police station against a robbery. He complained that money and licensed firearms are missing from his apartment while he was out of the station between October 15-21.

Acting on the complaint, police conducted a raid at the actor’s house and seized two pistols, 100 rounds of bullets and cash worth Rs 85,000. Police arrested the actor from Anandapur area.
Investigation is still on and the officers are trying to find out whether others are involved in this case.
