
For the first time since the pandemic, the BAFTA Awards or the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards were held in person at London's Royal Albert Hall on Sunday, March 13. The glittering awards evening was attended by celebrities including Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, Lady Gaga, Emma Watson, Naomi Campbell and more. This year, Dune has bagged the most number of nominations followed by Benedict Cumberbatch's The Power of The Dog.
The Best Film and Best Director awards were awarded to Jane Campion's The Power of The Dog. Will Smith won the Best Actor award for King Richard while Joanna Scanlan was adjudged as the Best Actress for After Love. Meanwhile, at least five awards were bagged by Dune.
