Amitabh Bachchan pitched to play Mohanlal's dad in new 3D film

Synopsis

Odiyan will be one of the highly expected films of all time with a rolling budget of around Rs 600 crore. Telugu star Prakash Raj and Manju Warrier will also be seen in important roles. 

As per latest reports, in one of his forthcoming films, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan could be seen playing Mohanlal's father. The two stars have earlier worked on Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag, and the Malayalam film Khandahar, in which Amitabh had a cameo.

 

According to reports. Mohanlal and Amitabh will be seen in a fantasy thriller Malayalam film titled Odiyan, which directed by ad filmmaker Sreekumar and will be entirely filmed using 3D technology.

 

Odiyan will be one of the highly expected films of all time with a rolling budget of around Rs 600 crore.

 

 

Apart from the two biggies in the entertainment industry, Telugu star Prakash Raj and Manju Warrier will also be seen in important roles. 

 

The storyline is about, Odiyan, the man who is mastered in 'odividya', a black magic trick to tackle the enemies. 

 

Odiyan is written by Harikrishnan. However, the official statement is let to come, and all talks are in a nascent stage.

 

Whereas Mohanlal is on cloud 9 with the blockbuster success of Oppam, Pulimurugan and Munthirivallikal Thalirkumbol. His latest movie 1971: Beyond Borders, which is directed by Major Ravi is all set for release.
