Amitabh Bachchan is a legend in its complete sense when it comes to films. He has given us commercial pot-boilers as well as thought-provoking films. A film that Big B is very proud of is the movie ‘Pink’ released back in 2016.
The film was considered as an important film for feminism and an answer to those who uphold patriarchal norms. It was both critically-acclaimed and commercially successful with the strong message ‘No means No’.
Bachchan wanted to celebrate the fact that a year had passed since Pink was released, and to mark the occasion, he posted a picture of the film's team.

The photo shows that there were no women in the core team behind the making of the film. Ironical considering the fact that the film is all about gender equality.
And although the irony is evident to a common man’s eye, Amitabh Bachchan seem to have completely missed this crucial point. In fact, he did not even share the pictures of the three female protagonists of the film; Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, and Andrea Tariang.
However, the irony of the picture was clearly pointed out to him by the Twiterrati, in case he still missed it.

A man who is famous for missing out on such crucial points is US President Donald Trump. He convened a White House meeting with lawmakers about a new healthcare bill affecting access to pregnancy and maternity care with 25 legislators discussing the reforms. And none of them were women. Pregnancy and maternity care discussion with no women involved. Get it?
