Engagement of actor-director Lal's daughter Monica with Allen, who is a pilot, was held last weekend

The engagement party was held at Crowne Plaza, Kochi. Mollywood actors Bhavana, Biju Menon, Asif Ali, Asha Sharath, Harisree Ashokan, Suresh Krishna and directors Sibi Malayil and Ranjith among others were in attendance. Bhavana looked gorgeous in a scarlet gown. 

The celebration was in North Indian style as men wearing turban danced to Punjabi songs. From the lightings, venue and classy attires to the high-spirited dance performances by friends and family, everything at the party was just mindblowing and had a Punjabi flavour.
