Unaccounted cash to the tune of ₹81.85 crore had so far been seized by election officials in Tamil Nadu since the model code of conduct for the May 16 Assembly elections came into force last month.
The release also said cotton clothes and readymade garments worth ₹5.52 lakh were seized in Vellore recently.
