UP reports another crime against minor; 15-year-old abducted, gangraped and filmed by 5 people

Incidents of rape and abduction that has put Uttar Pradesh in a tight spot rose as one more was added to the list of crimes against minors in the state. A minor girl was allegedly gangraped by five adults.
A video showing the gangrape of a 15-year-old from Sitapur went viral, prompting police officers to register a case. One person has been detained in this connection.
As per a report, the victim who was on her way back from the market was abducted by five people of the same area, who took her to a secluded place. The accused allegedly took turns and forced her into oral and vaginal sex.
The accused also made a video and threatened the victim with circulation of the video on social media if she told anyone.

However, after one of the accused shared the video on WhatsApp, it went viral.
Police reached out to the victim and subjected her to a medical test on Tuesday.
Police are raiding houses and known hangouts of the other accused and efforts are on to track them.
