Sandalwood drug case: Ragini’s bail application adjourned to September 19

Bengaluru: Sandalwood actress Ragini Dwivedi’s bail plea is being postponed every week.

After being adjourned on September 14, the hearing for the application has been postponed once again.

The actress' bail application hearing has been postponed from September 16 to September 19.

The actress will have to spend three more days at the Parappana Agrahara jail where she is currently lodged.

On Monday, September 14, police produced Ragini along with four other accused before the 1st Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) court, through video conference.

As police did not seek further extension of their custody, the court remanded the five accused in judicial custody.

Following this, the police took the five accused including Dwivedi to Bengaluru Central Prison located in Parappana Agrahara and remanded them in judicial custody.
