Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly district which was in the news after two women set themselves on fire before CM Yogi Adityanath's residence last month, is once again in the news for wrong reasons. This time, a woman and her paramour stragulated the woman's 19-year-old daughter as she too was in a relationship with the same man.
Bareilly (UP): The desire to have her lover all to herself and not allow a sexual relationship between her daughter and her man led to the strangulation of a19-year-old girl.
The victim is identified as Usma and the accused is Kaushar and Mukeesha.
The tragic and shameful incident occurred on Thursday.
It is reported that the woman and her paramour, after killing her, tried to fabricate a story of her being attacked by strangers and in the process, the mother ended up injuring herself to mislead police.
However, the family which was aware of Mukeesha's relationship with both mother and her 19-year-old daughter complained to police and upon interrogation, the suspect Kaushar confessed.
Subash Nagar Police have registered a case of murder against the mother of the victim and her lover Mukeesha.
As per reports, on Thursday night, Mukeesha came to the house and at the behest of Kaushar, took her daughter Usma to another room. Mukeesha too silently followed him but he suddenly wrapped her neck with a dupatta and her mother Kaushar also joined him and killed her. After killing her, Kaushar injured her hands with a knife and asked Mukeesha to leave. The moment he left, she raised an alarm to cook up a story of a stranger barging in and killing her daughter.
