India is done and dusted with its Tokyo Olympics campaign, wrapping it up with seven medals. Meanwhile, Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin praised their hearts out to the entire contingent.

It was India’s best-ever performance at the just-concluded Tokyo Olympics, as it scripted seven medals. Also, with a gold medal, things became even sweeter for the entire contingent.

Consequently, the entire delegation was applauded by the nation for its effort at the Games. Also, Indian cricketers took their turn to shower praise on all the athletes who made Indians proud.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who has always been vocal about the Indian athletes in the Olympics, said on social media, “Congratulations to all our winners and participants at the Olympics. Winning and losing is a part of sport, but what matters is you gave your best for the nation. We are so proud of you, and I wish you all the very best going forward. Jai Hind.”
