Pataudi Trophy 2021: Virat Kohli's latest social media post indicates a war cry (Check it out)

Synopsis

India and England are scheduled to lock horns in a five-Test series for the Pataudi Trophy from August 4. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli seems determined to make his performance count, as he has given a war cry. Notably, he hasn’t reasonably fared well in England to date.

Team India’s primary focus is to triumph in England and win the Pataudi Trophy in the upcoming five-Test series. Virat Kohli and co are warming up in the best possible way, while the skipper himself will have a task at hand come August 4.

Meanwhile, Kohli would have all the eyes upon him, as he has failed to impress in England to date. Furthermore, he is also without an international century for nearly 18 months, as it’s about time that he strikes one.

Ahead of the series, Kohli sent out a post that has sent his fans crazy. He shared a picture of him from his previous England tour, while he captioned it, “Remember who you are and don’t let ANYONE convince you otherwise. ⏳”

This post of Kohli seemed like a war cry, as he sounded determined to make his opportunity in England this term count. His post was applauded by many, while his Bollywood wife, Anushka Sharma, commented with “🙌❤️🙌❤️🙌❤️🙌” emojis.

In the meantime, India took part in a three-day warm-up clash in Durham against County Select XI, which ended in a draw on Thursday. KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja were the top batsmen to perform, along with some of the top-order batsmen, while pacer Umesh Yadav looked the most promising among bowlers.
Brief scores: India 311 & 192/3 (decl) drew CSXI 220 & 31/0.
