IPL 2020: Devdutt Padikkal gives an impressive reply at Yuvraj Singh’s Tweet

Synopsis

Devdutt Padikkal wins fans’ hearts with his humble reply to the veteran Yuvraj Singh. Yuvraj Singh was all praise for the RCB rising star, as he keeps performing in each passing game.

Devdutt Padikkal, who has been a young inclusion in Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) playing 11, has done wonders to the team. Besides his best contributions to the team, he has hammered three half-centuries in just four matches.

In RCB’s recent match against RR, Padikkal scored 63 runs in 45 balls and made a 99-run stand with skipper Virat Kohli. During his innings, he flicked a shot for six, which looked quite similar to Yuvraj Singh’s shot. The shot specifically has gained a lot of attention.

Meanwhile, the veteran, Yuvraj, who has been quite closely watching IPL, often shares special moments and appreciates worthy performances. On Saturday, following Padikkal’s knock, he posted a tweet.

The tweet captioned, “Form is temporary class is forever ! @imVkohli however I haven’t seen this boy out of form since last 8 years which is unbelievable actually ! Paddikal looks really good need to bat together and see who hits longer.”

Padikkal, in all humble way and acknowledging the veteran’s praiseworthy words, replied, “Not competing with you paji. Learnt the flick from you. Always wanted to bat with you. Let’s go.”

The franchisee looks forward to such successful performances in the upcoming matches. RCB, who defeated RR by eight wickets on Saturday, is all set to lock horns with Delhi Capitals (DC) on Monday at the Dubai International stadium.
