While Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah are the three Indians in the XI, there were two surprise picks in Arvind Vashishth and Vayu Raghavan. The two are the characters in the Amazon Prime’s original show Inside Edge.

Arvind is the captain of Haryana Hurricane and Vayu is skipper of Mumbai Mavericks. In Inside Edge season 2, Arvind’s character is played by Angad Bedi and Tanuj Virwani essays Vayu’s role.

Another big surprise  is that Gambhir has appointed New Zealander Kane Williamson as the captain of his “World XI”.

On Monday (December 23), Cricket Australia (CA) had picked Test team of the decade and it had Kohli as the captain. He was the only Indian in the line-up. Kohli and Rohit had made the cut in ODI team of the decade too. It has MS Dhoni as the skipper.

This is what Gambhir tweeted.
